Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, producing, distributing, or using any materials of the Donna for Virginia© campaign (from hereon, "the Campaign" or "Campaign"), including but not limited to press kit resources, photographs, audio files, videos, statements, or written/transcribed interview content, or by conducting interviews with or featuring the candidate in any media production, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Scope of Agreement

This Agreement applies to all Campaign-related content, both existing and future, including:

• Official press materials and press kit resources

• Photography and video content

• Interview recordings and transcripts (past, present, and future)

• Podcast appearances and audio content

• Social media content and posts

• Public statements, speeches, and appearances

• Website content and resources

• Any future interviews, appearances, or content featuring Donna Charles

• Any other materials obtained from or featuring Donna Charles or the Campaign

2. Permitted Use

You may use Campaign materials for legitimate journalistic purposes, including:

• News reporting and analysis

• Editorial commentary

• Educational purposes

• Non-commercial documentary use

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use Campaign materials or content from any appearances or interviews in any manner that:

• Disparages, defames, or discredits Donna Charles or the Campaign

• Misrepresents statements, positions, or actions through selective editing

• Creates false or misleading impressions about the candidate

• Violates the original context or intent of the content

• Manipulates the candidate's name, image, likeness, statements or responses in a way that diverges from the stated intent

• Infringes on intellectual property rights

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

4. Editorial Integrity

When editing or excerpting Campaign content from any source, including interviews and appearances, you agree to:

• Maintain the original meaning and context of statements

• Avoid selective editing that changes intent

• Present information fairly and accurately

• Clearly indicate when content has been edited or condensed

• Provide full context when reasonably possible

• Ensure editing maintains the integrity and intent of the candidate's statements and responses as provided at the time

To ensure compliance with these standards, the Campaign reserves the right to obtain original, unedited materials in cases of dispute, as outlined in Section 6.

5. Attribution and Credits

All use of Campaign materials must include:

• Proper attribution to "Donna for Virginia©"

• Preservation of any existing copyright notices

• Photo credits as specified in metadata

• Required disclaimers (see Section 7)

6. Right to Original Content

In cases of dispute regarding edited content:

• The Campaign reserves the right to obtain unedited versions

• You agree to provide original recordings/materials upon request

• The Campaign may publish clarifications or corrections

• Original content may be used for fair use defense purposes

• For interviews and appearances, you agree to provide the unedited version for reference if editorial decisions are disputed

7. Military Service Disclaimer

Any use of materials showing military service must include:

"Donna Charles is a former member of the United States Air Force. Use of her military rank, job titles, and photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement by the U.S. Air Force, the Department of Defense, or any branch of the U.S. Government."

8. Enforcement

Violations of this Agreement may result in:

• Immediate revocation of press credentials or media access

• Formal cease and desist notices

• Legal action for damages

• Public statements regarding violations

9. Modifications

The Campaign reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of materials after modifications constitutes acceptance.

10. Acknowledgment

By accessing, downloading, producing, distributing, or using any Campaign materials, conducting interviews with the candidate, or featuring the candidate in any media production, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Media Usage Agreement.
